Sexual Health

The goal of Sexual Health Education through McKinley Health Center is to provide information and support to students, allowing them to be sexually healthy adults.  Understanding that sexuality is an integral component of self, the program services are designed to enable students to make decisions and modify behaviors to positively impact their health, academic success, and over all well-being.

Sexual Health topics include but are not limited to: sexual function and dysfunction, contraception, sexually transmissible infections, sexual orientation, and healthy relationships.

  Group Presentations

Interactive workshops on any sexual health topic are available for residence halls, Greek houses, academic classes, and registered student organizations.

 Written Materials

McKinley maintains a variety of brochures and handouts about sexual health and relationships.  Visit McKinley's list of available handouts on our Web site, or cal the sexual health educator for more information

 Peer Education

Sexual health programming is also conducted in conjunction with the Peer Education Program through Sexual Health Peers.

Individual Appointments

McKinley's Sexual Health Educator is available to speak with individuals and couples about sexual health concerns.  Appointments are confidential.  To schedule an appointment with a sexual health educator, call Health Education at 333-2714.
