

LIVING LEAN 2009! (Learn Exercise and Nutrition)
Living LEAN is a 10-week series of fun and interactive group sessions for
students who are interested in weight loss and healthy lifestyle choices.
Participants can:
- check, record and track weight anonymously
- learn behavior changes that will enhance long-term weight loss success
- receive tips on meal plans, portion sizes, grocery shopping, cooking,
and label reading to promote weight loss
- learn all aspects of physical activity and use this to create an
exercise program
A prize will be given to those who complete the program.
Class is taught to by a Registered Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist from
McKinley SportWell Center.
When:
- Tuesdays, 12-1:30 pm (Nutrition, Counseling and Exercise Session)
- Thursdays, 12:30-1:30 pm (Exercise Session)
Where:
- The OASIS Multi-Purpose Room in the basement of the Illini Union
(located near the Food Court)
Cost:
- FREE for registered University of Illinois students only
Class will meet:
- February 3, 10, 17, 24
- March 3, 10, 17, 31
- April 7, 14

required and limited to 10 students.
